Asambleja e Përgjithshme e OKB-së miratoi sot një rezolutë për përkujtimin e genocidit, të vitit 1995 në Srebrenicë.
Çdo vit, 11 korriku do të jetë dita për të nderuar viktimat dhe për të mbështetur të mbijetuarit e gjenocidit në Bosnjë - Hercegovinë dhe kudo, dhe një kujtim i ashpër i tmerreve të së kaluarës, në mënyrë që ato të mos përsëriten në të ardhmen.
Shqipëria bashkë-sponsorizoi dhe mbështeti këtë rezolutë, për një nga faqet më të errëta në historinë e Ballkanit, Evropës dhe botës.

The UN General Assembly adopted today a resolution on the Commemoration of the 1995 Genocide in Srebrenica.
Every year, the 11th of July will be the day to honor victims and support the survivors of genocide in Bosnia & Herzegovina and everywhere, and a stark reminder of the horrors of the past, so that they are not repeated in the future.
Albania co-sponsored and supported this Resolution on one of the darkest pages in the history of the Balkans, Europe, and the World.
